Through Design
Amodio are continuing to look into ways to reduce our carbon footprint as a company and strive to create environmentally aware working surroundings, from small every day working practices to large manufacturing methods. Through our design and development programme we seek to produce more innovative products that use a greater balance of sustainable material, achieving more highly engineered practical product.

 In the Office
The environmental impact of today’s office is as important as the products that come from them in the first place. As a guiding principle Amodio operates a recycle or reuse procedure. We source recycled paper and use as standard for all printed media.  Waste paper, cans and bottles discarded in their designated bins are collected and recycled. All used or old I.T equipment is deposed of accordingly with metal and plastic (ABS) recycling. Printer cartridges are returned to the supplier for refilling.

  Product Life Cycle
Inevitably products come to the end of there usable life. Amodio products are designed for ease of disassembly allowing the aluminium, steel, plastic, glass, timber and insulation to be implemented into either a recycle programme or reused in other industries		 Packing and delivery
Amodio ensures delivery of its products are run efficiently, reducing unnecessary journeys, minimizing journey distances and maximizing loads with effective planning. Amodio achieves this by avoiding air-freighting, sourcing as much material from the UK and ensuring consignments are always used to full efficiency and never travel empty. If Amodio are unable to fill a full lorry we will always partake in grouped consignments. Amodio plans on a individual project basis to minimize the negative impacts of freight activities on local communities.
